Seattle at Christmas

Every year Seattle has a gingerbread house display at the Sheraton. This was my first year going and it was so cool! The gingerbread houses were ridiculous! The theme this year was Christmas movies and it was awesome! Definitely want to go again next year.

Seattle is so fun during Christmas time! There are lights and decorated trees and all kinds of entertainment going on right on the streets. You definitely see some interesting people down town though. There was this couple that were there with their Chihuahuas (pictured above) dressed like Mr. and Mrs. Claus and people we're giving them tips and they were stuffing the money into the dogs clothes?? I'm not sure what was going on. Stripper dogs maybe? Poor little guys! They did not look happy at all!

From there we walked down to Pikes Place Market. Erich loves it because there are a lot of Hmong people that have booths there and sell flowers. It's one of the few times he gets to speak the language so he gets really excited when we go. One of the Hmong ladies gave me this big beautiful bouquet of dried flowers. They are such nice and gracious people. We watched the sunset there and then headed over to the Spaghetti Factory where we had dinner with our good friends, Jon, Kristi, Jeff, and Wendy. We always have a blast with them! It was just a great day.
